We are so excited and grateful for the chance to gather friends and family to share this special day with us in the bride's home town. Out of town guests, please go to our Hotels page to book rooms at discounted rates by 8.25.26. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone!

SUGGESTED ATTIREFormal/cocktail. Our reception will be under a large tent on grass, so please consider wearing or bringing comfortable shoes or flats. Late September can be chilly when the sun goes down—the tent will be heated if the weather calls for it, but guests might want to bring a jacket or wrap.—AFTER THE CEREMONYIn the time between our ceremony and cocktail hour, we encourage you to check into your hotel, enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants on our Recommendations page, or relax before the evening festivities begin.

TRANSPORTATION

Shuttles to the reception will be available from two of the hotels where blocks of rooms have been reserved: the Marriott and the Cobblestone Inn. Those staying at the Sheraton can get to the Marriott via a skywalk.

4:00 PM The first shuttle leaves from the Marriott, stopping by the Cobblestone at 4:15.—4:45 PM The second shuttle leaves from the Marriott. Cobblestone guests who want to take the second shuttle can park free of charge at the Bayfront Convention Center next to the Marriott.

Shuttles back from the reception will depart at 8:00, 8:45, 9:45, and 10:15 PM.

We know many of our guests will be traveling from out of town - if you are able to attend and plan to spend Saturday night in Erie, we've arranged discounted prices at three hotels on Erie’s beautiful bayfront (those arriving on Friday will also be able to book their rooms for both nights at the same price per night).

We encourage you to book as soon as possible since hotels along the bayfront tend to fill up quickly during the summer months, and the rooms will have to be released and made available to the general public 45 days out from the wedding. Reservations can be cancelled up to 72 hours before the date without penalty.

Guests are of course welcome to book at other hotels on their own, but we will be providing shuttles at these three hotels to and from the reception at the Battles Estate in Girard, about a 25-minute drive. There will also be an informal after-party at the Marriott Courtyard, which is connected to the Bayfront Sheraton by a skywalk.
